We are proud be able to offer Mindfulness here at Leeds Physiotherapy & Pilates.
Having previously run with great success, our 8 week course is now back and available to book.
Classes will take place in our beautiful studio in our converted church helping to
set the right mood to discover the wonderful benefits that mindfulness brings
Mindfulness is a form of meditation that can be practiced both formally and informally. Both hold an intention for us to encourage awareness and focus on our breathing , or our physical sensations, or on our emotional feelings.
Mindfulness can be undertaken seated, lying down or through movement (such as walking or eating).
Mindfulness is proven to have a positive impact on much of what many people struggle with in life such as helping to reduce stress, improve concentration, give people greater resilience and general improved health and wellbeing to name but a few.
Classes will include the following elements and much more!
Classes are not simply carrying out meditation. You will learn all about the benefits and how to take mindfulness into your life and use it to be a better version of yourself

Above is just a snippet of what will be learnt during our classes. Each mediation undertaken will be recorded and shared with you after the class. These will be available for you to revisit and you will be asked to do home practice to enable you to get the most out of the 8 week course and beyond. The home learning will increase during the course, but by completing the home learning, you will gain so much more from the course. You must therefore be able to commit the time to get the best results, rather than simply turning up to each group session.
