Pilates Classes in Leeds

Our fully equipped Pilates studio is based in Oulton, South Leeds. We teach a modified version of Pilates at Leeds Physiotherapy and Pilates Practice that can be adapted to treat injury and pain. Our Pilates classes are attended by men and women in our beautiful Pilates studio in Leeds.

Additional Information

Pilates is used to improve the alignment of the body. Our muscles don’t work in isolation therefore we take a whole body approach to strengthening by training myofascial slings and moving our bodies in a way they are designed to move. Retraining normal movement patterns, regaining strength in weakened areas and length in tight areas as well as mobilising our joints is all part of what we teach in our classes. Our Pilates classes run as a 5 week block to introduce the technique to you and allow you to progress at the level you feel comfortable with. Our classes are extremely popular so booking is essential. We cover Pilates Leeds, Castleford, Pontefract, Wakefield and anywhere else through Zoom. 


Our classes run as a 5 week course and the cost is £45 a course for attending one in-person class a week (discounts available for additional classes), and £45 for unlimited zoom classes. Further details are available below under 'Book Pilates' and choose either 'Book Group In-Person Classes' or 'Book Online Zoom Classes'.


We are also proud to be able to offer One to One Pilates with Katy or Katherine. These sessions will assess your weaknesses and movement dysfunctions to create a tailored program for you based on your needs. These Pilates classes are designed for those wanting to achieve the ‘sculptured’ look by toning the abdominals, gluteals, shoulders and arms to create a toned figure and better posture. You will learn the basics of spinal alignment, correct activation of the core and the method of spinal and pelvic control.

This Pilates course is modified to adapt to the changes a womans body goes through before and after birth. Prenatally it can help maintain the strength of the pelvic floor and abdominals. We can teach you pelvic floor control which you can use during the labour. Post natal pilates is famous for helping regain your figure.

This is a private session in person with a Physiotherapist. Having one to one tuition will help target your specific area’s of weakness. It will give you a greater understanding of how your body works and will allow you to feel the benefits of Pilates quicker than in a class setting. Having one to one sessions will allow us to be more precise with your training.
